Card of The Week

This card is really amazing for me, because is too easy to special summon it and the effect is really helpful to remove a strong monster. for more detail about this card click here and for rulings click here.
and here some tips to use this card properly ^^ :

  • Use "Painful Choice" or Foolish Burial to put LIGHT and/or DARK monster(s) in the Graveyard.
  • You can use "Light of Intervention" in conjunction with this card so your opponent cannot set monsters, leaving them open for this card's effect.
  • Special Summon this card, use its effect to remove one of your opponent's monsters, then Tribute/Synchro Summon into a more powerful monster.
  • You can play Return from the Different Dimension to return the two monsters you released to the field. Use Sorcerer's effect to remove an opponent's monster from play then attack with the two monsters.
  • If you have a Spellcaster Deck you can Special Summon Chaos Sorcerer then have at least one other Spellcaster in your field, activate Chaos Sorcerers effect to remove from play one monster, then activate Magicians Unite, have your other Spellcaster have 3000 ATK and Chaos Sorcerer can't attack and still wouldn't by its effect.
  • Use Future Fusion or Foolish Burial to send the needed monsters to Summon Chaos Sorcerer then use D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation, Return from the Different Dimension, or Escape from the Dark Dimension for the dark monster on the removed monsters. While for the Light monster use Light of Redemption to return it to your hand.
  • This card works well with Dimensional Alchemist.
  • "Chaos Sorcerer" is good fodder for "Synchro Summons", but if its level is inconsistent with the "Synchro Monster" you are trying to Summon, use cards like "Noisy Gnat" or "Level Eater" to adjust its level.
  • Thunder Dragon is perfect for the required LIGHT monster; it can easily place itself in the graveyard and thins your deck making it more likely for you to draw this card, since it cannot be searched by normal means (Gold Sarcophagus and Different Dimension Capsule can, however, search it). Snipe Hunter can then be used to discard the extra Thunder Dragons and be used as the required DARK monster.
  • In a "Chaosworn" Deck, if Chaos Sorcerer were to somehow end up getting milled unintentionally, bring it back to your deck using "Pot of Avarice".
  • Being Spellcaster-Type, this card can be used with a Level 1 Tuner for Arcanite Magician.
  • This card can Banish even the strongest monsters (the only monsters that are safe from this cards effect, are ones that can't be Banished, or are face-down).
